Warehouse Administrator

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Administrator at DP World, you will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring all warehouse transactions are accurately updated in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP platforms. Your role includes conducting stock audits, processing shipment documentation, collaborating with suppliers, and supporting operational planning. Additionally, you will be involved in maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while supporting health, safety, and quality measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed and accurate stock records and database systems.
• Track inventory levels and promptly report any shortages or discrepancies identified.
• Log all inventory movement and transactions within the Warehouse Management System effectively.
• Perform regular stock counts and aid in thorough inventory audits.
• Investigate inconsistencies in inventory and implement reconciliation processes.
• Handle processing of goods receipt notes, delivery notes, and shipment documentation.
• Verify all inbound and outbound shipments against corresponding purchase orders and invoices for accuracy.
• Prepare all necessary shipping documentation and labels for shipments.
• Ensure comprehensive and timely recording of all warehouse activities.
• Enter and manage warehouse data in the ERP or inventory management systems.
• Maintain organized filing systems for all warehouse-related documents.
• Generate detailed warehouse operational reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Monitor shipment progress and update status records accordingly.
• Coordinate and communicate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments effectively.
• Organize delivery schedules and oversee shipment tracking processes.
• Provide support to warehouse supervisors in planning and executing operational tasks.
• Respond promptly to inquiries concerning stock availability and shipment statuses.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory compliance in all warehouse record-keeping.
• Assist in upholding health, safety, and quality assurance standards within the warehouse.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Report operational challenges and suggest improvements for smoother workflows.
• Prepare management-level reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
• Schedule meetings related to warehouse management and handle correspondence.
• Monitor office supplies and manage administrative resources effectively.
• Assist in onboarding and training new warehouse personnel regarding administrative procedures.
