• Book Recommendation System
  Python, Django, Collaborative Filtering, SVD

  Created an SVD-powered recommender using 271K+ books, 278K+ users, and 1.15M+ ratings. Implemented collaborative filtering and similarity-based ranking for personalized recommendations. Achieved Recall@5 of 0.1721 and Recall@10 of 0.2784, and deployed the solution using Django.

• NYC Shootings Cluster Analysis

  Analyzed 27,312 shooting incidents across 21 attributes to uncover crime trends. Built a hybrid K-Means–DBSCAN framework that identified 4 crime hotspots. Created geospatial visualizations for hotspot analysis and cluster interpretation.

• Breast Cancer Mortality Risk Prediction
  Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Random Forest, SVM, Logistic Regression

  Engineered a mortality prediction framework from 2,509 patient records and 34 clinical variables. Reduced prediction error by 78% for 5-year and 40% for 10-year risk estimation. Achieved a ROC-AUC of 0.8611, 0.5658 recall, and only 66 false negatives.
