Role overview
This six-month in-office internship is for a Business Development (Sales) profile in Ahmedabad. The role focuses on lead generation, outreach, pipeline management, and supporting the sales process from first contact through meeting scheduling and follow-ups.
Key responsibilities
The intern will research prospective customers across industries, identify qualified leads, and reach out through phone calls, email outreach, networking, LinkedIn, social media, and other online research methods. The role also includes arranging meetings and product demos for the sales team, maintaining CRM records and pipeline health, preparing client-facing presentations and proposals, and communicating effectively with prospects to understand their needs and recommend relevant Qollabrate services. The intern will also stay in touch with prospects, support collaboration with marketing on lead-generation efforts, monitor sales activity, and compile weekly performance updates. Keeping track of market movements, competitor actions, and new business opportunities is also part of the job.
