Application / Consultant Engineer – HVAC

Role overview

This position sits within the B2B sales function in Jeddah and focuses on helping HVAC solutions get selected and approved for projects. The role centers on VRF and commercial air conditioning systems, serving as the technical bridge between the business, consultants, developers, contractors, and the sales team across the full project cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the technical specification and use of VRF and CAC solutions on project opportunities.
• Build and sustain working relationships with consultants, developers, and contractors to improve the chances of product inclusion in project specs.
• Create technical submissions, product selection documents, and system recommendation proposals.
• Offer technical input and support from the design phase until project handover.
• Work closely with sales colleagues to turn technical approvals into project wins.
• Conduct product presentations, provide technical training, and support site activities when required.
• Keep track of market developments, competing offerings, and relevant industry standards.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a similar discipline is required.
• Prior experience in HVAC application work or consultancy, preferably involving VRF and CAC systems, is expected.
• Good knowledge of HVAC design fundamentals and specification workflows is necessary.
• A strong existing network with consultants, contractors, and developers is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills are needed.
• English fluency is required, and Arabic would be an added advantage.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The position reports to the Sales or Technical Manager and belongs to the HVAC / Electronics Distribution industry within the B2B Sales department.
