Architectural Coordinator

Role Overview

The Architectural Coordinator will assist project managers and project engineers in planning and executing structural and architectural tasks within building construction projects. This role requires leadership in coordinating site activities involving various trades, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and drawings, and handling procurement and quality control of architectural materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Support PM/PE in planning and implementation of structural and architectural works.
• Lead coordination among different trades on site to ensure seamless project progress.
• Communicate with Regulatory Technical Officers (RTO) regarding inspections.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials documentation, and Method of Statement (MOS).
• Review shop drawings submitted by subcontractors for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all construction work aligns with contract specifications and approved drawings.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and material suppliers effectively.
• Manage procurement and oversee the monitoring of architectural materials.
• Conduct inspections, trade demonstrations, material testing, and mock-ups.
• Ensure adherence to Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist and relevant Regulatory Inspection (RI) requirements.
• Participate in subcontractor meetings to discuss progress and issues.
• Handle contract administration along with site operational and project management tasks.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management or supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification.
• Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in building or construction trades within Singapore, including design and build (D&B) projects such as government or commercial buildings, or HDB Build-To-Order (BTO) projects.
• Preference is given to Singaporean applicants.
