Position Overview and Benefits
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager with a background in property management and financial operations. This role offers an hourly wage between $17 and $18, complemented by a competitive compensation package that includes bonuses based on property commission structures.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily financial and transactional operations including collection and posting of rents, fees, and other payments, as well as preparing deposits and financial reports
- Review and approve payments to vendors and service providers based on submitted invoices
- Maintain up-to-date resident records and accounting files; communicate regarding any outstanding balances and manage delinquency collections
- Process resident move-outs in accordance with lease agreements and notice guidelines
- Coordinate with maintenance to address and confirm completion of resident service requests
- Increase community interest by showcasing distinguishing features and benefits to set the property apart from competitors
- Enhance resident satisfaction by acting as a liaison for concerns and assisting in resolution
- Serve as the onsite acting supervisor when the Property Manager is unavailable
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree considered advantageous
- Valid driver's license is mandatory
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel
- Experience with industry-related software such as YARDI or E Site
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
