Overview
NT Temps is hiring a Cafeteria Helper for a full-time role in Alliston, Ontario, Canada. This position is based on site in a rural area, so the work must be completed at the physical location with no remote option.
Language Requirement

No degree, certificate, or diploma is needed.
Experience
Applicants should have between 1 and less than 7 months of related experience.

The job is located in a rural area.
Responsibilities
- Carry clean dishes, cutlery, and other service items to serving areas and arrange tables.
- Clear away used dishes and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- Load buspans and trays as needed.
- Run dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Store dishes properly after washing.
- Refill condiments and other supplies at tables and service counters.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and related items by hand when required.
- Scrub pots and pans.
- Portion and wrap food items.
- Prepare, warm, and complete basic food items.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet stations.
- Restock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Take customer orders.
- Use manual and electric equipment to clean, peel, slice, and trim food ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products safely.
- Remove kitchen waste and garbage.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
Experience with an electronic cash register is required.
