Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome all customers with polite and friendly greetings.
• Efficiently and promptly complete all purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) system.
• Encourage customer participation in company-sponsored offerings such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity programs.
• Help customers by bagging and assisting with loading their purchases.
• Follow all safety protocols including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workstation.
• Safeguard register security and uphold cash handling integrity by adhering strictly to company policies and maintaining awareness of the environment.
• Direct customers to the Customer Service Manager for relevant service or transaction assistance when necessary.

Compensation

The role offers a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.
