Job Description

• The role requires 10 to 15 years of experience administering Oracle databases with Exadata on UNIX/Linux platforms, focusing on high availability and performance-critical systems.
• Candidates must have 5 to 6 years of leadership experience managing DBA teams across multiple platforms, overseeing stakeholder expectations and daily operational and project activities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Experience working on AGILE projects and knowledge of ITIL principles, preferably with ITIL certification, is required.
• Responsibilities include installation, configuration, upgrading, migration, monitoring, and full administration of production Oracle databases critical to business operations.
• Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in high-pressure environments, while handling multiple demands.
• In-depth expertise in Oracle Database concepts with strong skills in performance tuning is mandatory.
• Proficiency in using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for database monitoring and management.
• Capability to analyze requirements, recommend, and implement robust solutions ensuring database high availability and stability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills must be demonstrated.
• Experience working with Oracle security tools such as Data Vault, Key Vault, and database firewalls, designing and maintaining database security aligned with compliance standards.
• Advanced skills in SQL query tuning, RMAN backup, and recovery processes.
• Expertise managing Real Application Clusters (RAC), including patching, handling standby databases via Oracle Data Guard, and troubleshooting clustering environments.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment including participating in on-call rotations.
• Availability to work during US business hours is required.
• Experience automating routine DBA tasks through scripting is necessary.

Max CTC: 3.5 million INR
