Job Summary

This role involves preparing monthly bid packages and awards for flight crews in alignment with pilot scheduling policies and collective agreements, ensuring balanced staffing across all schedules. Additionally, you will coordinate all pilot training requirements monthly.

Responsibilities

• Create operational flight pairings, incorporate training timetables, and assemble bid packages.
• Develop monthly schedules based on submitted bids.
• Continuously monitor operations to identify necessary changes to crew assignments.
• Review commercial schedules to evaluate future staffing necessities.
• Advance plan recurrent line checks and initiate line checks monthly based on training progress.
• Organize monthly pilot training including simulator sessions, classroom instruction, and line indoctrination.
• Collaborate with Flight Operations training management to align training plans with department goals and comply with Canadian Aviation Regulations.
• Handle modifications to training schedules during the month as required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree relevant to the field.
• Minimum two years' experience in airline crew planning or scheduling.
• Advanced proficiency with Crew Planning and Scheduling software, especially Pelesys LMS/QMS automation platforms.
• Familiarity with transport jet aircraft operating regulations, documentation, and equipment.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and shifts when needed.
• Eligibility to hold a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and maintain security clearance.
• Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within time and resource constraints.
