About the Role

Tech Pipeline is seeking a Data Reporting Assistant to smooth out bottlenecks in reporting workflows for a leading infrastructure company based in Jeddah. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in understanding how data transitions from its original source to finalized reports by identifying and addressing inconsistencies and delays in the approval sequences. Working fully remotely, the role relies on precise communication and thorough log examination to troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze daily system logs to verify the successful execution of automated reports and detect any interruptions.
Cross-compare exported data from various platforms to locate mismatches and inconsistencies.
Modify routing configurations in the reporting system in alignment with updated project needs.
Document the detailed logic behind report construction to maintain client accessibility.
Assist in rectifying backlog issues caused by erroneous data entries that impact project totals.
Test newly designed report views to ensure they accurately represent the database’s source data.
Monitor system alerts and summarize recurring errors for escalation to technical leads.
Participate in remote troubleshooting sessions to identify operational challenges faced by end users.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
Basic understanding of SQL or eagerness to learn querying techniques for data extraction.
Strong written communication skills capable of producing clear, step-by-step instructions.
Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to detect minor numerical discrepancies.
