Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our core Platform Team based in Austin, Texas. In this applied scientist role, you will play a critical part in developing and refining AI models that drive FutureSecure.ai’s proactive intelligence features. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers, you will apply machine learning, statistical methods, and data mining techniques to enhance the platform’s human-AI interaction capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, assess, and innovate machine learning models to interpret user intent, forecast workflow needs, and improve human-AI collaboration through novel algorithms and diverse data inputs.
• Extract, clean, and analyze extensive interaction data across sources to uncover patterns and engineer impactful features emphasizing human-AI work dynamics.
• Partner with engineering teams to deploy machine learning models into production, monitor model performance continuously, and initiate improvements including retraining where necessary.
• Stay informed on breakthroughs in machine learning, data science, and human-computer interaction to integrate cutting-edge advancements into the platform.
• Design and execute A/B testing experiments to evaluate model and feature effectiveness, optimizing user experience and collaboration outcomes.
• Communicate complex technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate closely with engineers, UX researchers, and product managers.
• Contribute to the platform architecture by ensuring seamless model integration, scalability, and operational efficiency within FutureSecure.ai.
• Analyze proactive intelligence data to understand and anticipate human-AI interaction patterns, delivering anticipatory support and insights.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience as an applied scientist, data scientist, or machine learning engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in machine learning techniques including regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.
• Skilled in programming with Python and familiar with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experienced in data mining, cleaning, and feature engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in relevant fields like Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
