Role Overview

As an Estimation Engineer stationed full-time on site in Dubai, you will be responsible for producing precise cost evaluations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation across diverse projects involving facility management, MEP, HVAC, façade, and fit-out works. Your daily tasks encompass scrutinizing technical drawings and specifications, performing site inspections as needed, liaising with engineering and project teams, and gathering cost quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Additional duties include assessing project risks, refining cost proposals to maximize value, aiding negotiation processes with clients and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company protocols and regional regulations. Collaboration with operational and sales departments is key to delivering prompt, competitive, and technically accurate proposals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in project cost estimation and BOQ generation in civil, MEP, HVAC, and fit-out projects.
• Strong educational background in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines with hands-on knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
• Skilled negotiator capable of managing supplier, subcontractor, and client pricing and contract discussions.
• Proficiency in researching market prices, technical specifications, and project demands to ensure cost accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field mandatory.
• Preferably experienced in estimation for facility management, construction, or MEP/HVAC projects within the GCC area.
• Strong analytical capabilities, numerical proficiency, and advanced MS Excel skills; experience with estimation software or ERP platforms is beneficial.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with aptitude for teamwork in multi-disciplinary environments.
