Executive Partner - Retail

Overview

The Executive Partner role is part of Gartner Executive Programs (ExP), a specialized service within Gartner’s Executive Technology Services. ExP supports over 8,500 CIOs and senior IT leaders globally from Fortune 500 companies and government entities. Members gain access to a unified source of insights addressing CIO challenges, benefiting from Gartner's impartial expertise and the collective knowledge of a vast CIO community.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio comprising more than 28 member relationships to provide tailored service engagement.
• Utilize expert knowledge to develop client solutions incorporating the full suite of ExP offerings.
• Identify and fulfill member Mission Critical Priorities (MCPs) by designing personalized service strategies.
• Facilitate diverse briefings both onsite and virtually, such as workshops, analyst interactions, roundtables, and webinars.
• Represent or lead sessions at ExP events as appropriate.
• Forge a strong collaboration with Gartner's Sales team to foster member engagement and support contract renewals.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in consulting or executive roles with exposure to technologies including AI, BI, ML, Digital Transformation, Blockchain, Big Data, and Cloud.
• Industry experience specifically in retail or real estate sectors is required.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing or co-managing large-scale transformative initiatives.
• Comprehensive understanding of CIO priorities, IT industry trends, leadership, operations management, and performance metrics.
• Proven business development or sales experience engaging with CXO-level executives.
