Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer specialized in maintenance and facilities management for residential units. The role encompasses planning and overseeing routine maintenance activities for facilities and residential complexes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical maintenance programs for facilities, residential units, and associated housing projects.
• Coordinate with design teams, operations, and contractors to ensure maintenance and development activities are executed according to approved schedules and budgets.
• Monitor energy consumption efficiency and implement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce electricity usage costs.
• Inspect and ensure electrical systems comply with occupational safety and health regulations, including managing risk assessments and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Develop emergency plans, handle electrical network malfunctions, and liaise with emergency and ambulance teams if necessary.
• Supervise technical manuals, documentation, and reports; provide explanations to operations and management teams.
• Participate in pre-sales and development stages to ensure that electrical security requirements, cost-effectiveness, and technical feasibility are met for projects.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Professional licenses or specialized certifications in electrical maintenance and facilities are preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and facilities management, preferably within residential units or real estate development projects.
• Profound understanding of building electrical systems including electrical distribution, control panels, lighting systems, HVAC, and potential alternative energy systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and local regulations with the capability to develop and document safety procedures and train technical teams.
• Excellent skills in planning, organizing, communication, leadership, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams while adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and familiarity with engineering tools such as AutoCAD or similar design software, as well as good command of MS Office applications.
