F&B Team Leader

Role Overview

This position is for the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel by Tivoli in Doha, Qatar. Minor Hotels is a global hospitality group with a portfolio of more than 530 properties across 50+ countries, spanning brands such as Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow and Tivoli.

The Food & Beverage Team Leader is expected to guide day-to-day restaurant or event-area operations, keep service standards consistently high, and support smooth coordination between team members to deliver a positive guest experience.

Key Duties

• Supervise and assist food and beverage staff throughout shifts.
• Make sure health, safety, and hygiene practices are followed at all times.
• Protect service standards and help maintain strong guest satisfaction.
• Support stock control, inventory checks, purchasing, and replenishment activities.
• Coach, train, and support new team members.
• Respond to guest comments and help resolve service concerns.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in food and beverage service is required.
• Previous exposure to team leadership is expected.
• Good communication and people-management skills are essential.
• Ability to stay effective in a busy, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to work on evenings, weekends, nights, and public holidays is necessary.
• A high school diploma is required; hospitality training is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is needed.
• A flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays is part of the role.
