About the Role
The FLEX Rotational Associate position offers a full-time opportunity within Corporate Finance, emphasizing the integration of finance expertise with advanced data-driven decision-making processes. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days a week and focuses on partnering with diverse business units to provide essential financial insights and ensure accurate data management. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining strong financial controls and safeguarding the interests of policy owners, supporting overall business performance and future financial security.
Role Overview
The FLEX (Finance Leadership Experience) program is designed as an accelerated career path for highly motivated individuals interested in corporate finance leadership. This program includes hands-on experience through rotational assignments, mentorship, and structured training to enhance both strategic and technical financial competencies. Participants receive significant exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to develop their professional network.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in a full-time rotational program covering core Corporate Finance areas.
- Work with traditional financial controllership and analysis tasks while adopting modern tools such as automation, dashboarding, predictive analytics, and AI-driven modeling.
- Undertake one of two rotational assignments: Expense Planning and Analysis or Controllership for Individual Life and Disability Income Accounting.
- In Expense Planning and Analysis, contribute to quarterly and year-end financial reporting, analytical trend evaluation, and business insight delivery, collaborating with business leaders on budget management and expense tracking.
- In Controllership, support the financial closing process, regulatory and management reporting, and enforce robust control environments, gaining foundational experience in insurance accounting.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent written and oral communication capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in fast-paced settings.
- Self-driven with a strong desire to learn and develop.
- Keen interest in the intersection of finance and technology.
- Experience with or curiosity about AI applications in finance.
- Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization platforms is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $92,500 annually, with actual compensation based on experience, skills, and location. The position is exempt from overtime, eligible for discretionary bonuses, but not sales bonuses. Additionally, employees may participate in various incentive programs.
