Front-End Developer Intern – UI/UX & App Development

About the Role

HEMG (Helios Engineering & Mechanical Group) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Front-End Developer Intern to join its software product development team. The role focuses on building and refining digital platforms used by Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, shutdown and industrial project execution teams. These products support mechanical integrity, bolted joint management, weld traceability, test pack / IDTP lifecycle visibility, evidence control and project handover readiness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building front-end interfaces for web and mobile application screens.
• Develop neat, intuitive and responsive layouts for users.
• Contribute to dashboard pages, forms and workflow-related screens.
• Translate UI concepts, wireframes or design examples into working front-end views.
• Use HTML, CSS and foundational JavaScript in day-to-day tasks.
• Support UI/UX refinements for industrial software products.
• Help improve the user experience for field teams, QA/QC personnel, project teams and management dashboards.
• Check screens for responsiveness, usability and basic working behavior.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and product stakeholders.
• Assist with app development tasks as assigned by the team.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Basic JavaScript skills.
• Understanding of front-end development fundamentals.
