Graph Developer

About the Role

Shrewd Techlink Services, operating under the brand Giggso, is seeking an experienced Graph Developer/Engineer to design and maintain large-scale graph database solutions based on Neo4j. This role involves comprehensive tasks such as graph data modeling, graph analytics, data ingestion, API development, and ongoing production support aimed at knowledge graphs and connected data applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement advanced graph data models using Neo4j to represent complex business relationships and support analytics needs.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain Cypher queries, stored procedures, and graph algorithms to enhance graph traversal and pattern recognition capabilities.
• Utilize Neo4j Graph Data Science algorithms including PageRank, Community Detection, Similarity, and Pathfinding for analytics purposes.
• Construct and manage data pipelines for ingesting data from relational databases, APIs, files, and event streams into Neo4j graphs.
• Integrate graph solutions with enterprise applications using programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript through Neo4j drivers.
• Provide graph service endpoints using GraphQL and REST API frameworks to support downstream AI and analytics platforms.
• Oversee Neo4j environments involving indexing, query tuning, performance optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities.
• Develop and enforce governance practices including schema control, data quality assurance, security measures, access management, and operational standards.
• Work collaboratively with architects, data engineers, AI/ML specialists, and business stakeholders to build scalable and effective graph-based solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum five years of practical experience in the development of graph databases, data engineering, or backend systems.
• Proficient with Neo4j, Cypher query language, and sophisticated graph data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience applying the Neo4j Graph Data Science (GDS) library and performing graph analytics.
• Strong programming capabilities in one or more languages: Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Good understanding of data integration techniques, ETL pipeline construction, and managing relational and NoSQL data sources.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, along with containerization tools like Docker and continuous integration/deployment practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Additional Information

• Work shift corresponds to Pacific Standard Time hours.
• The job location is based in Chennai/Hyderabad but operates on a remote work model.
• Candidates must be graduates from any discipline to be eligible.
