Willow Bridge is looking for a Groundskeeper in Gainesville, GA. This position is suited to someone who pays attention to detail, follows through on tasks, communicates well, works cooperatively, and takes initiative to improve the property and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the property each morning and keep the grounds, management office, and landscaping free of trash and debris.
• Maintain cleanliness in mail rooms by removing litter, sweeping floors, and clearing outdated notices from bulletin boards.
• Replace bulbs in shared spaces and breezeways when needed.
• Install first-floor window screens whenever requested.
• Support apartment turnover work by removing trash from vacant units, applying caulk, checking appliances and smoke detectors, and replacing parts as needed.
• Clean AC vents and change filters in vacant apartments.
• Install, reposition, and connect appliances.
• Replace air filters in occupied apartments according to schedule.
• Clean the pool area by hosing it down, collecting trash, and arranging chairs neatly.
• Carry out light painting tasks as assigned.
• Clean vacant apartments before new residents move in.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician whenever help is needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Prior exposure to groundskeeping, caretaking, or janitorial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is important.
• The role requires the ability to manage several tasks at once, stay organized, and work to deadlines.
• Good customer service skills are necessary.
• Availability to help with maintenance emergencies after hours when needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and climb stairs regularly.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
