Role overview

Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join its Newquay team. The position offers an hourly rate of £13.71 and is suited to someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and interacting with customers while representing the business on the road.

What the role involves

• Loading the van safely and following correct manual handling practices, including heavier lifting where needed.
• Driving in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Carrying out routine checks on the delivery van before and during use.
• Making sure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service as the company’s front-line representative.
• Helping out in the store when support is needed.
• Managing your own workload efficiently and working well without close supervision.
• Being flexible with working patterns, which may fall anywhere between 6:00am and 11:00pm.

Who should apply

This opportunity is for candidates with a full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years and carries no more than 6 points. Applicants should be friendly, positive, reliable, able to meet deadlines, and committed to strong road safety standards.
