Role Overview
Our partner company is seeking an HR & Compliance Coordinator based in the United States to join remotely. This role is tailored for an experienced HR professional dedicated to developing robust people processes and upholding high standards of compliance. You will facilitate full-cycle HR operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and internal policies, and contribute significantly to recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, employee engagement, and compliance activities in a values-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle comprehensive recruitment tasks including job advertisement, candidate screening, interviews, reference verifications, and employment documentation management.
- Oversee smooth onboarding for new hires by ensuring completion of necessary paperwork, training, and orientation events.
- Monitor and manage compliance obligations such as certifications, background verifications, insurance documents, and workforce-related requirements.
- Maintain precise records related to compliance, training completion, and employee data to ensure audit preparedness.
- Arrange and coordinate internal and external training sessions, including eLearning modules and professional growth programs.
- Manage workforce scheduling involving roster updates, shift adjustments, leave coverage, and operational coordination.
- Conduct internal audits on employee files, participant documents, and organizational procedures to identify areas of advancement and uphold compliance.
- Drive employee engagement through regular check-ins, collecting feedback, implementing recognition initiatives, and fostering team communication.
- Assist with policy maintenance, compliance evaluations, reporting, and documentation in accordance with applicable industry standards.
- Collaborate with external training providers to promote professional development and bolster workforce capabilities.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in HR, compliance, or workforce coordination within sectors such as disability services, community services, or healthcare.
- Solid knowledge of compliance frameworks, particularly the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and Australian workplace regulations.
- Experienced in managing onboarding, coordinating training initiatives, maintaining employee documentation, and tracking compliance.
- Familiarity with workforce awards and employment regulations, including the SCHADS Award.
- Demonstrated capability in conducting internal audits, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records for leadership purposes.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative, people-focused work approach.
- Excellent organizational abilities to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote working context.
- Comfortable with HR information systems, compliance tools, and digital workforce management platforms.
- Proactive, detail-focused, and dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
