Job Overview
The Integration/API Specialist is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining APIs and integration services, ensuring smooth interactions between internal enterprise systems and external platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration solutions.
- Administer and enhance API gateways, middleware components, and microservices.
- Maintain security, scalability, and robust performance of all integration layers.
- Work closely with business analysts and fellow developers to facilitate system interoperability.
- Continuously monitor for integration errors and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Create comprehensive documentation for API definitions and integration processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have at least 3 years of professional experience specializing in integration development and API management.
- Demonstrated expertise in Azure Integration Services, particularly Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
- Must currently reside within Qatar.
Preferred Certification
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) credential is an advantage.
