Issues & Program Manager, Product Operations

About the Role

This opportunity focuses on driving operational excellence by overseeing key product initiatives within a dynamic technology setting. The role entails owning comprehensive issue management programs, spearheading cross-team remediation efforts, and refining processes that enable efficient product development and launches. Collaboration will span across product, engineering, compliance, legal, risk, and operations teams to solve intricate challenges and enhance execution standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the complete issue management lifecycle including issue triage, root cause identification, containment strategies, remediation tracking, and ensuring final resolution.
• Develop and enhance operational workflows, incorporating automation and AI-driven processes to boost efficiency, improve documentation quality, and foster stakeholder consensus.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to ensure prompt resolution of pressing issues.
• Design and uphold robust issue reporting mechanisms for both internal and external parties.
• Track remediation efforts assuring accountability from involved teams.
• Oversee the execution of major product programs by coordinating readiness among Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations departments.
• Maintain strategic partner relationships and act as a central liaison for communication and coordination.
• Spot opportunities for continuous process improvements and help implement scalable operational practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in technology-centric roles such as project management, product operations, program management, especially within fintech or tech-driven industries.
• Proven background in managing issue tracking, compliance initiatives, risk programs, audits, or policy-related projects.
• Knowledge of operational controls ensuring product initiatives align with regulatory and compliance standards.
• Keen interest in utilizing AI tools to enhance execution quality and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical capabilities, able to interpret detailed reports, craft dashboards, and independently address operational inquiries through data analysis.
• Experienced in driving cross-functional projects and aligning diverse stakeholders toward common objectives.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at simplifying complex subjects for executive presentations.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities autonomously and deliver within a fast-evolving environment.
• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with ownership and builder-oriented approaches.
