Role Overview

We are looking for a Developer to join our internal product engineering team on a temporary-to-hire basis. You will collaborate closely with our senior developer on Atlas, our AI-powered compliance engagement platform, and other internal tools that support client delivery. Initial engagement is temporary, with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance and fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy features across the Atlas platform built with Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, Prisma/PostgreSQL, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor regularly to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Employ Claude Opus and Fable models to speed up development, debugging, and prototyping phases.
• Integrate and refine LLM-driven features and internal automation processes.
• Translate compliance and product specifications into clean, maintainable, well-typed code.
• Engage in code reviews, familiarize yourself with our stack and practices including RBAC, activity logging, and unified service layers.
• Document and contribute to enhancements in development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of software development experience or equivalent project work.
• Practical experience with Claude Code and Cursor in real-world development scenarios.
• Proficient with TypeScript and modern React frameworks; Next.js experience highly preferred.
• Experience creating automations, agent capabilities, and workflow tools.
• Comfortable working with relational databases and ORMs (especially Prisma and PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with Claude Opus and Sonnet models including prompt engineering and integration.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn independently.
• Ability to follow directions, ask insightful questions, and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical or military experience.
• Recent graduates demonstrating strong AI-assisted development projects are encouraged to apply.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in compliance, security, or SaaS environments.
• Integration experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic or Google GenAI.
• Familiarity with tools including AWS (S3, Lambda, SES, SQS), Tailwind CSS, Radix, shadcn/ui, TanStack Query, Zod, Vitest, and Playwright.
• Knowledge of authentication and enterprise single sign-on protocols (SAML, Okta, JWT).
• Comfort with Git workflows, conventional commits, and continuous integration.
