Position Overview
The Junior Regional Controller is responsible for developing and standardizing security policies and programs aimed at protecting corporate business operations. This role focuses on monitoring security systems and responding appropriately to safety incidents at client locations, emphasizing strong customer service and effective incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody Pinkerton's values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all activities.
- Monitor and respond to security and safety events that could affect clients, visitors, or business operations.
- Provide high-quality customer service to address and resolve security-related issues for internal stakeholders.
- Continuously observe electronic security systems to detect unauthorized access or criminal activities that threaten personnel, confidential information, assets, or operations.
- Act as the primary contact for employees and others to report incidents, seek emergency help, or obtain security advice for client sites.
- Escalate critical incidents or environmental concerns to senior management that may impact client interests adversely.
- Perform thorough security incident analyses and report findings to the Security Analyst Supervisor.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum two to three years' experience working with or engaging global teams, specifically within Global Command Centre operations.
- A bachelor's degree or comparable formal education including security-related studies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Cooperative team player capable of adapting to evolving organizational and external environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and analytical abilities.
- Competent in managing and facilitating change within security frameworks.
Working Conditions
- Requires the physical and mental capacity to perform essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Frequent use of computers, occasional lifting of small items, and operation of office equipment.
- Regular sitting, standing, and walking.
- Travel as necessary.
