Role Overview: Machine Learning Analytics Manager (BFSI)

We are looking for an accomplished Machine Learning Analytics Manager with at least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI). You will lead a team delivering innovative machine learning-driven solutions to complex business challenges.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Guide and support a team of data scientists, analysts, and ML engineers in developing impactful analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with different departments to define and prioritize business problems that can be solved by machine learning techniques.
• Formulate and execute a machine learning strategy that meets organizational objectives.
• Supervise the creation of machine learning models including supervised and unsupervised techniques, regression, neural networks, and decision trees.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns and trends within BFSI datasets.
• Lead deployment of ML models into production systems ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Apply ML to risk management aspects such as credit risk, fraud detection, and market risk mitigation.
• Establish monitoring frameworks to track and improve model performance continuously.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, business analysts, and IT teams on data-driven business solutions.
• Keep updated on emerging machine learning trends and BFSI sector developments to integrate the latest innovations.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• Bring 6+ years of practical experience in ML and analytics with a strong BFSI focus.
• Skilled in programming languages including Pyspark, Python, or R, and experienced with data visualization tools and one of the major cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms and methodologies including supervised/unsupervised learning, time series, and NLP.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proven track record deploying ML solutions effectively in BFSI contexts.
• Exhibit excellent analytical problem-solving skills, with a data-centric mindset for decision-making.
• Communicate complex technical details clearly to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.
