Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Demonstrate solid expertise in machine learning, statistics, and data engineering with a firm grasp of the underlying principles of models and an ability to translate theory into practice.
• Apply ML techniques to address practical business challenges by designing, training, and deploying models that drive measurable improvements.
• Produce well-structured, maintainable, and efficient Python code, potentially complemented by C++ or Rust, with an emphasis on testing and performance optimization.
• Maintain a strong interest in the evolving ML landscape by staying current with advances such as transformers, reinforcement learning, efficient inference, and model compression, applying these techniques judiciously.
• Collaborate effectively across multiple teams, including data science, backend engineering, and product design, contributing to a diverse and inclusive development process.
