Maintenance Manager

Role Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating all maintenance functions across Alamar’s GCC DP stores and facilities. The role aims to ensure equipment reliability, safety compliance, operational cost efficiency, and uninterrupted operations, ultimately sustaining a high-quality in-store environment for both staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise maintenance operations including planning, resource distribution, and execution throughout Alamar’s GCC locations.
• Lead and oversee maintenance teams comprising team leaders and technicians.
• Ensure timely execution of routine maintenance, repairs, and problem resolution.
• Control maintenance budgets, inventory, spare parts planning, and cost efficiency.
• Organize and schedule both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement annual maintenance contracts involving all pertinent vendors.
• Authorize and supervise calibration of critical equipment such as ovens, makelines, HVAC systems, and signage in stores.
• Manage vendor relationships to guarantee timely supplies and avoid delays.
• Take charge of emergency maintenance responses.
• Initiate and lead process improvements that enhance cost-efficiency, operational performance, and the employee in-store experience.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance records.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare routine reports.
• Supervise asset management and related documentation.
• Support store openings, relocations, and remodeling projects with maintenance planning and execution.

• Familiarity with Food & Beverage industry requirements (mandatory).
• Fluency in Arabic (mandatory).
• Current residency within the UAE (mandatory).

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of maintenance experience specifically within F&B Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) in the GCC region.
• Preferably holds a background in electro-mechanical engineering.

Work Location

This position is based at the UAE Head Office with frequent collaboration and support duties across store locations.
