Role Overview

Joining Tesco as a Maintenance Technician based around Braintree, Clacton and nearby locations, you will be integral to maintaining safe, operational, and welcoming store environments for customers and staff. You will work within a skilled team to carry out both scheduled and reactive maintenance on various systems and equipment, ensuring smooth operations and enhancing the shopping experience of thousands daily. Key Responsibilities

• Confidently liaise with external contractors and coordinate repairs seamlessly.
• Work cooperatively with team members, appreciating the value of quality service.

• Support management by ensuring store equipment and facilities operate without issue.
• Schedule repairs to minimize disruption to customers.

• Handle day-to-day maintenance of store property and equipment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments is essential.
• Qualified to ONC or an equivalent level.
• Possession of a full driving license.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Competence with Office 365 applications.
• Comfortable using digital tools, including tablets, to manage work schedules and communications.
• Completed all essential technical training and upskilling modules aligned with current skills.
