About the Role

This role involves architecting, developing, and maintaining dependable software solutions within Black Pearl's product ecosystem. The developer independently drives feature creation while actively engaging with the engineering and product teams to ensure cohesive delivery. The position requires balancing rapid feature rollout with high standards for code quality and scalability, encompassing both frontend and backend responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Build and design user interface features and backend services.
Create and utilize APIs and components powered by data.
Guarantee software solutions meet performance, security, and maintenance standards.
Author clean, reusable, and testable code.
Engage actively in peer code review processes.
Adhere to agreed development methodologies and best practices.
Collaborate closely with product managers and UI/UX designers to meet product goals.
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Integrate with third-party services and platforms as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Between 2 to 4 years of experience in professional software development.
Proficient with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or equivalents for frontend development.
Experienced in backend development using technologies like .NET or comparable frameworks.
Knowledgeable with relational or non-relational database systems (SQL or NoSQL).
Exposure to cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Success Indicators

Consistent, dependable delivery of new features and improvements.
Production of high-quality code requiring minimal revisions.
Effective team collaboration accompanied by increasing technical autonomy.
