Role Overview and Responsibilities

The position requires 5 to 8 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-related roles, with at least 3 years dedicated to managing mobile continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for iOS and Android platforms. Key responsibilities include designing and managing mobile build environments using tools like Gradle, Xcode, and Fastlane, automating app releases on platforms such as Google Play and the Apple App Store, and contributing actively to technical design and architecture discussions within Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Key Skills and Technical Expertise

• Strong background in mobile CI/CD tools including Fastlane, Bitrise, and Codemagic or their equivalents.
• Experienced with Azure DevOps for pipeline orchestration, work tracking, and release management.
• Proficient in GitHub for version control involving branching strategies, pull requests, and merge processing.
• Use of Jira to manage projects, sprints, and facilitate teamwork across departments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of iOS and Android build systems such as Xcode, Gradle, including code signing, provisioning profiles, and keystores.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks covering unit, UI, and integration testing for mobile applications.

Additional Technical Competencies

• Expertise in app store deployment automation including managing release tracks, version control, phased rollouts, and metadata.
• Working knowledge of cloud environments, preferably Azure, and fundamental understanding of containerization using Docker.
• Skill in authoring and maintaining pipeline configurations in YAML for tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions alongside scripting capabilities in Shell or Python.
• Awareness of security best practices related to mobile development including secrets management, static code analysis (SAST), and certificate pinning.
• Experience with mobile monitoring and observability platforms such as Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, and Datadog.

Additional Information

Candidates with knowledge or hands-on experience in Flutter, React Native, or native mobile development have a strong advantage. AI fluency is valued, indicating a keen interest and ability to incorporate AI tools within an enterprise software development framework, although direct AI implementation experience is not mandatory.
