This 12-week paid internship offers hands-on involvement in active projects at the Devonport Naval Base in Auckland, immersing you in meaningful work that shapes the industry. Responsibilities and Experience

• Participate actively in ongoing engineering projects related to naval architecture.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the penultimate year of a University Degree in Naval Architecture or a related field.
• Eligible to obtain a New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) Security Clearance.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Proactive mindset with strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize workload.
• Willingness and ability to start the program from 23rd November 2026 until 19th February 2027.
• Legal authorization to work in New Zealand and capacity to comply with US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) due to exposure to US export-controlled technology.

Additional Information

The internship requires undergoing pre-employment screening, including reference, Ministry of Justice, security checks, qualifications verification, and right-to-work confirmation.
