Position Summary
The Plant Manager will provide overall direction and performance oversight for the manufacturing site, with responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and financial outcomes. This position leads day-to-day manufacturing execution, ensures production goals are met, and drives ongoing process improvements. The role also provides both strategic and operational leadership for a facility focused on vibration monitoring technology, including supervision of production, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality, and EHS functions. The Plant Manager owns plant-level P&L performance, resource planning, and KPI delivery, and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team supporting business planning, operational strategy, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily plant operations to meet or exceed targets for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Ensure manufacturing processes are followed consistently and aligned with standard best practices.
- Improve operational efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery performance.
- Set and execute operational plans that support business growth, cost reduction, and added capacity.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other improvement efforts that reduce waste and strengthen performance.
- Define, track, and act on KPIs to strengthen accountability and continuous improvement.
- Share insights on global labor and productivity trends to support strategic decisions.
- Own plant financial results, including P&L, budgeting, cost management, and capital spending.
- Create and manage site budgets, forecasts, and capital initiatives in line with business priorities.
- Work with leadership on long-range planning and business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cross-functional team.
- Create a culture of accountability, engagement, and ongoing improvement.
- Strengthen organizational capability through succession planning and talent development.
- Maintain a leadership approach that reflects company values and expectations.
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to align operations with customer and business needs.
- Partner with Sales to ensure the plant supports customer expectations and service levels.
- Act as a primary link between plant operations and executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, including ISO9001 and ISO13485.
- Oversee quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and improvement initiatives.
- Build and sustain a strong safety culture throughout the plant.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing leadership positions such as Operations Manager or Plant Manager.
- Proven success managing operations in a complex manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated ability to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost results.
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
- Strong background in working across functions and with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is required. An MBA is preferred.
Environmental and Physical Requirements
This is a manufacturing, non-sedentary role. The work may take place in an office or warehouse setting. The incumbent must be able to carry out the essential functions of the position and typically needs to spend more than 66% of each workday standing for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, or climbing. There may be exposure to dust, and the role may require lifting and/or pushing up to 50 pounds for 33% to 66% of the time.
