Process Engineer

Role Overview

Blackfield Associates is seeking a Process Engineer to enhance manufacturing operations in the pharmaceutical sector. The role focuses on driving process improvements, providing technical assistance, and supporting cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in manufacturing activities and lead efforts to improve process efficiency.
• Conduct technical investigations and perform root cause analyses on operational issues.
• Champion continuous improvement projects to optimize production outcomes.
• Support the introduction of new products, facilitate process development, and manage technology transfer initiatives.
• Participate in process validation, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), handling deviations, and quality-related investigations.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and maintain all related quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve challenges and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments is essential.
• Familiarity with aseptic processing or oral solid dose manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with effective communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of GMP regulations and continuous improvement methodologies.
