Project Coordinator - Supply Chain

Overview

This role involves supporting supply chain projects by directing, organizing, and overseeing project tasks under the guidance of a Project Manager or Director, dedicating over half of work time to project management activities.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in establishing thorough workflow procedures and assess project proposals and deliverables in partnership with project management and involved departments to ensure adequate preparation time.
• Maintain ongoing communication with project teams to ensure timely completion, effective issue communication, and proper documentation throughout the process.
• Oversee and adjust project schedules as needed, manage document control, track project steps, and facilitate team communications. Assist in strategic discussions and document action items.
• Act as project lead preparing and updating presentations and charts, organize meetings including travel and expenses, and manage Project Manager calendars.
• Arrange follow-up meetings and develop communications for project stakeholders. Compile and review progress reports and status updates.

Education and Experience

• Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
• No professional licenses or certifications are mandated.
• Experience requirements vary by education: 1 year administrative/project support for bachelor's degree holders, 3 years of project support with associate's degree, or 7 years with high school diploma/GED.

Work Details

• Employed by NC Health within the Shared Services unit of the Supply Chain department, working full-time (40 hours/week) during day shifts.
• Hybrid work arrangement based in Durham, North Carolina.
• Pay range is $24.98 to $35.91 per hour, depending on experience and internal equity considerations.
• The role is exempt from overtime regulations.
