Project Lead – Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We are searching for a motivated individual to transform a well-formed concept for a real-time location-based web platform into a fully functioning product. This opportunity entails complete ownership of the architecture and execution of the platform from ideation through launch.

Responsibilities

• Develop a user-centric web application featuring booking workflows, scheduling, subscriptions, payments, and wallet management.
• Create a provider dashboard to manage jobs, notifications, and track earnings.
• Build an administrative panel to provide analytics, handle payouts, and resolve disputes.
• Implement a real-time backend system supporting location-based matching, automated notifications, fallback mechanisms, and scheduling.
• Design payment infrastructure that handles subscription billing, refunds, wallet transactions, and provider payouts.
• Leverage full-stack technologies including React/Next.js, Node.js or Python, PostgreSQL or Supabase, Google Maps API, Razorpay, WebSockets, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Adopt AI-assisted development tools and workflows to rapidly generate, review, and ship features efficiently without relying solely on manual coding.
• Exercise sound judgment to balance AI-generated boilerplate and repetitive code with critical architecture, security, and reliability decisions requiring deep human insight.

Required Skills and Experience

• Comprehensive understanding of full-stack architecture including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, real-time systems, payment integration, and hosting solutions.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze existing codebases to understand data flow and application logic end-to-end.
• Systems thinking mindset to conceptualize complex flows such as booking processes that encompass frontend validation, asynchronous API calls, backend matching logic, notification triggers, timeout handling, database updates, and responses.
• Strong enthusiasm and self-motivation to proactively drive progress and problem-solving even without direct supervision or structured oversight.
• Discipline and ownership mentality to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes weekly in a fully remote setup.

Compensation and Additional Details

This position does not offer an upfront salary. Instead, it provides an equity-like opportunity to take on senior leadership responsibilities and share in the long-term success of the product and company you will help build. Candidates expecting immediate monthly income are advised this is not suitable for them.

The role requires no formal degree or minimum professional experience; demonstrated ability to build software and effectively utilize AI-driven tools for development is key.
