Quality Assurance Analyst

Role Overview

As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Vertisystem (A MOURI Tech Company) based in Menlo Park, CA, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the quality of our products by both implementing and enhancing testing processes. You will collaborate closely with engineering and QA leadership and support the delivery of robust and reliable features.

Responsibilities

• Execute and upkeep manual and automated test cases for new developments and existing functionalities.
• Identify, document, and triage defects; partner with engineering teams to ensure swift resolution.
• Create and sustain clear and thorough test cases and test plans.
• Assist QA leads in formulating test strategies and plans.
• Develop and manage dashboards to monitor quality metrics and ownership of testing progress.
• Perform product audits and bug audits under the guidance of QA leads to evaluate and enhance QA coverage and pinpoint areas needing improvement.
• Offer release readiness support for medium and smaller feature deployments.
• Lead testing for projects or features of small to medium scale.
• Participate in status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leadership.
• Work onsite as required to enhance direct collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Support confidential projects demanding heightened attention to detail.
• Conduct specialized testing methodologies including benchmarking, battery, and performance tests.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in software quality assurance or a closely related domain.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in authoring and executing comprehensive test cases and plans.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Experienced in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with dashboard creation and quality metric tracking is a plus.
• Comfortable working onsite and interacting extensively with engineering and QA teams.
• Basic skills in Python, JavaScript, and SQL preferred.
