Route Service Representative

About the Role

As a Route Service Representative (RSR) at UniFirst, you will serve as the primary contact for customers on your assigned delivery route. This role involves daily management of pickups and deliveries of garments and other products, ensuring excellent service and fostering long-term customer relationships through professionalism, reliability, and care. The position requires physical stamina and safety awareness, working in both indoor and outdoor environments during regular daytime weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your designated route by providing daily deliveries and pickups, acting as the main customer liaison.
• Support operations by loading and unloading trucks efficiently to begin each day accurately.
• Ensure timely and precise delivery and return of products with strong customer satisfaction focus.
• Develop customer relationships by addressing service needs and presenting new garment and product options.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities on your route to increase revenue and personal earnings.
• Operate a company vehicle safely while representing UniFirst and reinforcing customer trust.
• Troubleshoot service-related issues, manage inventory, and comply with safety standards consistently.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including passable physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service background required.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery roles is advantageous.
• Comfortable using technology to improve delivery operations and customer interactions.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
