Senior Program Manager, Community Violence Intervention

Overview

This position represents a senior leadership role focused on managing a high-impact community safety and public sector technology program in the United States. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a community violence intervention and public safety initiative, ensuring that milestones, customer outcomes, and program objectives are met efficiently.
• Oversee the implementation and utilization of technology solutions designed for case management, data gathering, reporting, and day-to-day program functions.
• Coordinate diverse teams spanning product development, engineering, professional services, customer success, and account management to ensure cohesive program execution.
• Establish and nurture robust partnerships with government bodies, nonprofit organizations, coalition groups, and senior stakeholders involved in program delivery.
• Develop systematic program operation frameworks including recurring meetings, executive reporting, risk assessments, decision logs, and escalation protocols.
• Create and maintain comprehensive short-term and long-term delivery plans covering timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and strategic goals.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators to enhance decision-making and drive continual program improvements.
• Facilitate technology adoption by supporting partners through implementation, workflow optimization, reporting enhancement, and operational adjustments.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as resource limitations, scope changes, and budget constraints, implementing proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer needs, monitor feature progress, and manage dependencies effectively.
• Lead high-level discussions, representing program interests with executives from government, nonprofit, and community sectors.
• Continuously improve program methodologies to boost operational efficiency and delivery quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing complex, multi-stream projects or programs with diverse stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Professional background in public health, human or social services, criminal justice reform, nonprofit or public safety sectors, or related mission-driven disciplines.
• Strong experience utilizing KPIs and data analysis to gauge program success and inform strategic adjustments.
• Exceptional communication skills tailored to engaging government leaders, community partners, and senior executives.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional technology teams delivering customer-centric solutions.
• Adept at translating complex data and technical material into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Highly organized with capacity to juggle competing priorities in dynamic and fast-paced settings.
• Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Prior exposure to SaaS deployments, technology-driven programs, or customer delivery projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with human services software platforms, case management tools, dashboards, and public sector data systems preferred.
• Experience related to community violence prevention or safety initiatives is a strong plus.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PgMP are beneficial.
• Willingness to occasionally travel for in-person meetings with partners and stakeholders.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without need for current or future employment sponsorship.

• The position offers an annual salary in the range of $98,000 to $115,000.
