This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Auckland for an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to support the delivery of several strategic initiatives within a demanding, fast-moving financial services environment. The role suits someone who is confident working across multiple workstreams, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring project delivery stays aligned with governance expectations.

Role purpose
In this position, you will partner with Project Managers, delivery teams, and stakeholders to keep project activities coordinated, support governance disciplines, manage status reporting, and help drive successful outcomes across the portfolio.
Candidate profile
- At least 5 years of project or programme coordination experience in New Zealand
- Strong understanding of project governance and delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to support several projects at the same time
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong capability in financial tracking and reporting
- Advanced hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Self-directed, well organised, and comfortable working independently
- Experience in banking or financial services is a strong advantage
