Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Junior Software Engineer who has strong experience in data management, handling data flows, report generation, and interface development.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Development Team to build and deploy financial technology solutions for diverse financial institutions.
• Engage directly with international clients and business analysts based in Singapore and Hong Kong.
• Design and develop reports and interfaces that meet client specifications.
• Deliver high-quality software solutions and maintain the codebase provided to clients.
• Operate within an agile workflow to produce customized and timely software solutions.
• Initiate the creation of internal tools to improve team efficiency.
• Advocate and implement best practices related to DevOps within the team.

Candidate Requirements

• Holder of a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience across the full software development lifecycle including specification, design, development, QA, and deployment; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong coding skills in programming languages such as Python, NodeJS, or Java.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Additional knowledge in JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React is highly advantageous.
• Experience with multiple backend frameworks including Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning new technologies and adapting quickly.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving approach.
• Interest in financial markets with preferred experience or awareness of financial products.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
