Role Overview

The company is looking for a Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer to enhance the reliability, security, and scalability of Revel’s software. The role focuses on constructing and managing the infrastructure supporting continuous integration and testing pipelines. Key Responsibilities

• Create and uphold hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing systems.
• Select and incorporate necessary test instruments and equipment for HIL evaluations.
• Manage and expand the computing and build infrastructure used for CI workflows.
• Enhance HIL testing procedures through the adoption of best practices, improved tooling, and process optimization.
• Ensure thorough documentation, automation, and security practices throughout deployment stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Basic proficiency in Python, particularly for automation and scripting tasks.
• A strong motivation to learn about server infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and embedded system testing environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or exposure to data acquisition technologies or industrial IoT/Industry 4.0 settings.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration.
• Academic interest or experience in hardware-software integration, aerospace, autonomous vehicles, or similar domains.
• Any Rust programming knowledge is advantageous.

Applicants must meet U.S. Government ITAR regulations, qualifying as either a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible for required State Department authorizations.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from 90000 to 161000 USD annually, with actual pay dependent on experience and qualifications. Additionally, employees receive equity stakes as part of compensation.
