Solution Architect

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our team in Surat, Gujarat. This role involves crafting scalable and secure technology solutions, ensuring alignment between technical plans and business objectives, and leading engineering teams to implement effective architectures. The successful candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong design skills, and excellent collaboration capabilities to drive projects within enterprise and product-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures tailored to business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical strategies support overall business goals and successful project delivery.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams enforcing architectural standards and best practices.
• Assess and recommend technology stacks that are future-proof and consistent with industry trends.
• Prepare and maintain detailed architectural documentation and standards.
• Engage with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align architectural decisions and expectations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 8 years in software engineering, including at least 2 years dedicated to architectural roles.
• Extensive expertise in solution architecture, system design, and enterprise architecture.
• Strong grasp of system architecture, solution design, and integration of enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis.
• Experience working with messaging queue systems including RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS, or Service Bus.
• Proficient understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed system design.
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases and modern backend/application frameworks.
• Understanding of key principles in scalability, security, reliability, and performance optimization.

Functional Competencies

• Strong analytical abilities to interpret business challenges and engineer scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• In-depth knowledge of security architecture, including authentication, authorization, and OWASP best practices.
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional teams.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and architectural initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or Solution Architecture credentials.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
