About the Role

Lakera is looking for a Solutions Engineer to enhance sales momentum, boost customer success, and influence the product experience during growth. This role is customer-oriented, acting as the main technical liaison during sales and a support resource for customer success teams. You'll analyze customer needs and architect tailored solutions using Lakera’s AI Defense Plane to safeguard enterprise AI systems and enable advanced use cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead technical contact for prospective customers evaluating Lakera solutions, interpreting their requirements and designing aligned implementations.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success to facilitate smooth onboarding and drive value realization from the platform.
  • Create and update technical documentation and guides to simplify both pre-sales and post-sales procedures.
  • Assist with product configuration and implement minor technical adjustments necessary for client deployments.
  • Convey customer and prospect feedback to Product and Engineering, aiding roadmap development and ensuring platform relevance to market needs.
  • Develop scalable Solutions Engineering practices by establishing playbooks and standardized approaches.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of five years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a comparable role.
  • Proven experience managing complex relationships with large technical enterprise customers.
  • Skilled in programming within Python and JavaScript ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated capability implementing large projects on major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform is preferred.
  • Familiarity with security, compliance, and IT standards applicable to implementing B2B products in large enterprises.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ease in presenting to individuals, groups, and conferences.
  • Experience working directly with diverse clients, including major enterprises.
  • Proactive and resourceful work ethic with creativity in overcoming project hurdles.
