Key Responsibilities

• Initiate material requisitions.
• Receive stock deliveries and verify specifications such as make, size, and rating against approved standards, including preparing Material Inspection Reports and Test Certificates for all items.
• Generate outward and returnable Delivery Challans appropriately.
• Interpret BOQ specifications to ensure delivered materials comply, and distribute materials daily to electricians and engineers with proper signed documentation.
• Maintain and update daily stock registers and dedicated registers for tools and machinery.
• Submit stock reports every two weeks and regulate gate passes.
• Manage the Work Permit register related to all on-site activities.
• Organize the store, including tracking scrap and empty drums.

Materials Managed

The materials handled include conduits, cable trays, ladders, wires, cables, clamps, related accessories, as well as tools and machines.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience managing site stores with MEP or electrical contractors.
• Proficient understanding of electrical materials by make, size, and rating.
• Strong command over English reading and writing to prepare reports and challans accurately.
• Good skills in Excel and maintaining stock registers.
• Familiarity and comfort using smartphone applications such as Powerplay.

• Location is Chennai or other outstation projects.
• This is a full-time role based on-site.
