Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join our Auckland office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and demonstrate strong skills in Revit. This role involves collaborating closely with structural engineers to produce high-quality structural documentation and drawings, managing projects from initial concept to construction phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Create structural drawings and documentation utilizing Revit.
• Develop precise 3D models and coordinate project documentation effectively.
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to produce integrated design solutions.
• Support Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination, including assistance in the creation of BIM standards, families, and libraries.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of documentation adhering to professional standards.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and project teams as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Structural Technician within an engineering consultancy or a related setting.
• Proficient in Revit with experience in producing structural documentation.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and processes.
• Possession of a relevant qualification in engineering drafting or a similar discipline.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and dedication to delivering high-quality results.
