About the Role
Join MLabs, a pioneering company in fintech, blockchain, cryptography, infrastructure, and security, as a Tech Ops Manager. This fully remote, full-time position supports a globally distributed team developing advanced core banking systems. Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this role requires strategic oversight and hands-on management of internal systems and infrastructure to maintain a secure, efficient operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize the worldwide Google Workspace environment and corporate IT solutions.
- Manage and scale Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems to ensure security, automation, and compliance across devices.
- Handle vendor partnerships, software licenses, and hardware procurement, including configuration and international shipping for employees.
- Lead IT processes throughout the employee lifecycle: onboarding, access management, offboarding, and technical support across various time zones.
- Maintain detailed IT documentation including playbooks and runbooks to uphold SOC 1, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and CCSS compliance efforts.
- Provide technical assistance to global team members and support the integration of internal AI tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience in IT management or internal systems administration.
- Expertise in Google Admin, Google Workspace security, MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf), and endpoint security measures.
- Demonstrated experience managing IT logistics and infrastructure in remote-first, distributed global teams.
- Strong familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301.
- Pragmatic problem solver who effectively balances operational efficiency with stringent security protocols, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and independent working ability.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in French is highly desirable.
- Experience with internal AI tooling and related integrations is an advantage.

Interview Process
- Initial screening by a recruiter.
- 30-minute introductory call with the Co-CEO.
- A 45-minute online cognitive and behavioral assessment evaluating critical thinking, verbal and numerical reasoning, detail focus, and problem-solving skills.
- An in-depth 90 to 120-minute panel interview covering technical expertise, cultural fit, security knowledge, and teamwork qualities.
- Final stage involves reference and background verification.
