Technical Project Manager

Overview

Ascendion Engineering Private Limited, located in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with over 12 years of expertise in software development and project leadership. This role involves managing end-to-end software delivery with a focus on full stack engineering, architecture, and agile frameworks to ensure business value is achieved.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive full stack development projects covering backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Provide technical direction on architecture, coding standards, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Conduct architectural and code reviews promoting modern design patterns and integration of AI-enabled tools.
• Oversee sprint planning, release management, backlog refinement, and delivery processes to meet quality and timeline commitments.
• Implement and enhance automation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor and develop onsite and offshore engineering teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a positive agile environment.
• Manage stakeholder relationships including clients, product owners, and architects, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, providing technical input and estimation support.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing, demonstrations, and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled development, monitoring, and testing strategies for continuous process improvement.
• Explore new and emerging technologies to accelerate value delivery and innovation.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proficient with full stack technology stacks such as Java/.NET, Node.js, Angular or React, SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Experienced in microservices architecture, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and DevOps toolchains.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of conflict resolution and leading culturally diverse teams.
• Familiarity with AI-driven observability, automation, and developer productivity technologies.

Experience and Educational Qualifications

• More than 12 years in software engineering roles, with at least 3 to 5 years in leadership or managerial positions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with contemporary technology stacks and agile software delivery approaches.
• Preferred certifications include PMP, SAFe, TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud credentials.
