Overview

As a Two-Wheeler Test Rider based in Bangalore, you will be an integral part of the automotive testing process, primarily focusing on motorcycles and scooters. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough evaluations under various controlled and real-world scenarios to measure attributes such as performance, safety, quality, and comfort. Your insights and detailed reports will directly influence the product development and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive road and track tests following standardized company protocols.
• Assess aspects like vehicle handling, braking efficiency, mileage, vibration levels, noise, and overall ride quality.
• Conduct endurance rides to test durability under diverse conditions.
• Detect and accurately report any defects, anomalies, or performance issues encountered.
• Maintain meticulous logs and provide structured feedback to the R&D, quality assurance, and technical departments.
• Operate vehicles safely with strict adherence to prescribed testing and safety guidelines including wearing proper protective gear.
• Support the technical team during vehicle inspections, fine-tuning, and additional testing as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license with a commendable riding record is mandatory.
• Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant riding experience, including roles such as delivery, motorsports, or related test riding positions.
• Excellent handling skills and confidence in riding various two-wheelers across different engine displacements.
• Strong grasp of road safety protocols and traffic laws.
• Physically capable of riding extended durations across multiple terrains and weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of two-wheeler mechanics is advantageous.
• Good observational abilities to provide accurate and clear feedback regarding vehicle performance.
• Readiness to travel as necessitated by testing schedules and accommodate flexible working hours, including early starts.

Additional Information

• Work is primarily located onsite in Bangalore with occasional field testing assignments.
• Applicants should be aged between 18 to 33 years.

• Full-time position requiring flexible hours tailored around field testing needs.
• Must comply with all safety norms, including usage of personal protective equipment and adherence to traffic regulations.
• Effective verbal communication skills are essential to relay observations and feedback clearly to technical teams.

Compensation

The salary package for this role ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month, based on experience and performance.
